Transcendental Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengen
December 10, 2009
As the Fabrengen was drawing to a close, Bochurim were coming up to Danny to give him a hug and thank him for such an inspirational evening.
The Yud Tes Kislev Fabrengen in the Gutnick Center is the annual joint project of Chabad of Hevron and Torat Chabad, an organization - skillfully admistered by Rabbi Moshe Shilat - that teaches Chassidus to religious youth in educational systems that are not Chabad. This year three hundred young men participated… and they really participated. Not a wallflower audience.
Sincere Diverei Chassidus by renowned speaker Rabbi Yechezkel Sofer combined with the mystical dimension of the day to open the minds and hearts of the listeners… as they absorbed Chabad teachings that both inspire and comfort the ever searching soul.
Popular musician Shlomo Katz provided the musical accompaniment to soul stirring singing of Niggunim and dancing that displayed cohesiveness even from boys who had never met before. The feeling in the room was a manifestation of Chapter 32 of Tanya when the boundaries between one person and another are nullified.
